A TOWY Valley choir is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary with a special concert.
Llandielo-based Côr Meibion Dinefwr, formed in 1966 by the late Noel John, will will host a concert as part of the celebrations on Saturday, October 29 at Capel Newydd, Llandeilo at 7.30pm.
Guest performers will include Shan Cothi, the Three Tenors - Crwys Evans, Robyn Lyn Evans and John Davies - with their accompanist Gareth Wyn Thomas. The concert's chairman will be Jeff Thomas, OBE.
Admission programmes are on sale from choristers.
Before the main event at the end of October a hot buffet has been organised as part of the celebrations at the Plough Inn, Rhosmaen on Saturday, October 1.

The choir is also looking for a new bilingual conductor to replace John Williams, the present conductor who is retiring from his post in the new year.
