FOLLOWING their sell-out tour in 2014, Only One Direction are back with a new show for 2015.

The highly-acclaimed tribute to the famous now-four-piece band, is at Swansea Grand Theatre on Tuesday, May 26 at 6pm.

The Zayn Malik of the band, Jamie Searl from Cork in Ireland told the Guardian the band are looking forward to performing in Swansea for the first time.

“We are really excited to come back to Wales, we’ve toured all over but never in Swansea, we always get a great reaction from our Welsh fans the people are always very friendly,” he said.

Despite Zayn’s departure Jamie will carry on with the band.

“I was as gutted as everyone else when I heard the news about Zayn,” said Jamie.

“It was like the end of an era. You will never see the full five piece together again so we are the next best thing.”

Jamie joined Only One Direction in 2012 after being contacted by a friend who had signed on to play the part of Harry Styles.

He said the band promises to deliver all the fun and enthusiasm of the original One Direction, performing songs from all four of their smash hit albums, including What Makes You Beautiful, Story of My Life, Best Song Ever and Midnight Memories.

“This will be a night to remember, not just for the young fans but the older ones too. The parents always seem to go more crazy than the children," added Jamie.

“We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday night,” added Jamie.

Tickets for this fun-filled performance are available from the Box Office on 01792 475715 or at swanseagand.co.uk.
