Following their enthusiastically received Victory Over Cancer tour which raised funds for the Velindre Cancer Centre, the vibrant Classically-trained, multi-instrumentalist quartet, The Meadows, are returning to the stage.
This time the quartet will be raising some much-needed funds for Wales Air Ambulance as they rely 100 per cent upon donations to keep this vital service in the air.
Their previous Venlidre tour had been a thank you to the cutting-edge work of the Centre, including state-of-the-art stereotactic radiotherapy, which bought their family a very precious extra 18 months with their grandmother.
In the fifth concert at St. Teilo’s Church Llandeilo, The Meadows are looking forward to being joined by choir of Ysgol Gymraeg Teilo Sant who will be adding songs to the programme.
The evening will be opened by the Mayor of Llandeilo, and Cllr. Craven-Lashley.
The Meadows are sharing their passion for music with a wider audience across South, West and Mid Wales including other venues such as Tenby’s De Valence Pavilion Theatre, The Norwegian Church Arts Centre Cardiff.
It is a family friendly evening of musical entertainment, performing a unique blend of genres including Celtic, Tudor, Classical and Contemporary on a whole range of instruments.
Tickets are available from Peppercorn Llandeilo and Teilo Sant Welsh School.
Adults are £8, under 18s £6.
