The Specials are back on the road. And Madness have never gone away. Time, I think, for another relic of their era to be reformed: The Anti-Nazi League

The recently departed heroes of World War Two would be appalled by the ultra right-wing politics currently stalking the land.

Even the Labour party cannot bring themselves to crawl across the centre line of politics.

The Scottish Nationalists would prefer to run away rather than have the gumption to stick around and support their fellow Celts.

Meanwhile, Plaid Cymru cheer them on, little thinking what sort of mess that will leave us and the Northern Irish in.

And what of the Celts of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, whose once-favoured Liberal party has reneged on them.

Then there is the living-in-the-past Conservative party, who reminded the Scots why they wanted to break up the Union in the first place by sending David Cameron, the non-elected premier north of the border, to talk to them.

And now we have the crackpot ‘English Votes for English laws’ slogan.

Last time I looked there were only two codes of law in Great Britain - Scottish Law and the law of England and Wales.

John Redwood seems to have become their spokesman on that, but I cannot recall him using a similar argument and refusing to become Secretary of State for Wales.

Do your views change to meet the most important point of imposing your views on the electorate, John?
