Roma moved up to third in the Serie A table as second-half goals from Cengiz Under and Diego Perotti helped them to a 2-0 win at Udinese.

Turkish winger Under put the capital club in front in the 70th minute with a rocket of a left-foot shot which flew past Albano Bizzarri in the hosts’ goal.

It was Under’s fourth goal in his last three games for Roma.

Eusebio Di Francesco’s men wrapped it up in the first minute of stoppage time as Gregoire Defrel, who replaced Under in the 87th minute, dispossessed Seko Fofana in midfield. He played the ball to Radja Nainggolan who threaded a pass through to Perotti, and his calm finish was too good for Bizzarri.

It was a third straight league win for the Giallorossi who moved above Inter Milan, while Udinese have now won just one of their last seven matches.

Under was denied in the first half by Bizzarri while Fofana’s 35-yarder had Alisson scrambling in the Roma goal, but the effort went wide.

Alisson denied Stipe Perica in the 51st minute and was called on again to keep out a near-post effort from Rodrigo De Paul with the score at 1-0, pushing the Argentinian’s shot skywards before punching clear.
