LLANDY B I E bowler Aled Howells will be pulling on the national red vest next month when he represents Wales in the World Indoor Bowls Championship in Scotland.
The 22-yearold who repres e n t s Ammanford and Llanelli earned his spot in the competition after putting in a fine performance to claim runners-up spot in last season’s U25s Indoors Bowl Finals.
The event, which is due to take place at the Fraserburgh Indoor Bowls Club, runs from October 23 to 26.
