WITH just four games remaining, Cwmaman were in need of some big points if they are to avoid the drop.
They began a busy week with a trip to Gowerton.
However, things did not go to plan and the visitors were overpowered by their dominant hosts.
Gowerton ultimately ran out comfortable winners with a 30-point advantage.
Cwm’s best rink came on Rink Three were James Davies’ men went down by three shots (18-15).
At the final end,Cwmwere left empty-handed as the hosts claimed all 14 league points available.

Cwm’s desperate quest for points continued on Saturday when they entertained Dafen Welfare Crusaders at the Garnant Park green.
However, Cwm were fighting an uphill battle, being a player short on two rinks.
They put up a good fight however, running Crusaders close on three of the rinks, before losing all four to be left empty-handed again.
The defeat all but seals Cwmaman’s relegation with only two matches remaining for Cwm’s bowlers to somehowconjure up a miracle.
