Cwmaman 3rds 1 Seven Sisters 5

THE game was only five minutes old when a diabolical backward header gifted the away team the lead and when keeper Wayne Neal punched into his own net five minutes later, things weren’t looking to rosy for the home side.

Cwmaman were briefly back in the game when Eifion Rogers continued his great goal scoring run by blasting in from close range for his seventh goal in four matches.

The fluke of the day came to give Sisters back their two-goal advantage when their striker mishit a cross, which somehow flew over Neal, hit the far post and ended up in the back of the net.

There was more bad luck for Cwmaman when they lost centre-half Richard Jones to an ankle injury and it was only a matter of time before Seven Sisters wrapped up the game with another two goals without reply.
