A snowy morning and a delayed start saw Bryn Rovers entertain Cimla at Maes Ellwyn. Bryn had the better start and pressured Cimla early on, but failed to put away several chances. Just before half time, Harri Jones opened the scoring with a great goalmouth effort.
Cimla looked dangerous on the break, but Rovers scored again with a fine, left-foot strike from Cerith Watkin that deflected off a defender to leave the keeper stranded.
With the comfort of a two-goal, Bryn piled on more pressure and Jones got a well-deserved second to make it 3-0. Acuna Bezerra then polished off a great all-round performance by Rovers with a fine goal and Bryn’s fourth. It was difficult to single out one player, but with a spirited performance, Eli Onyewu was Bryn’s man of the match.
