Palleg Golf Club hosted the Hywel Idris Jeffreys Trophy on Saturday with Eurig Thomas and Rhodri Thomas scooping the overall pairs prize with a combined 78 points.

Other winners included Bernard Smith (Division 1), Duncan Jones (Division 2) and Johnathon Thomas (Division 3).

Lessons are to be held for ladies every Wednesday evening (6pm-7pm). Equipment supplied. Please wear trainers and no jeans.
