Rumble in Tumble

TOWY ABC have put on another superb show in Tumble.

Stephen Jenkins won the Dai Hale Memorial Shield by beating Steven Davies in a fantastic bout of boxing.

Shane Thomas was another fighter who shone, but he was narrowly beaten by Fairfield man Rene Roberts.

Homester Scurry Evans put up a brave performance but was edged out by Liam Price.

David Walters failed to land the big shot that would have won the bout against Tom Glover and slipped to defeat.

James Goronwy came from behind to beat Dyfrig Dikton in an enthralling contest while Jay McAndrew won the boxer of the night after beating Nathan Perrin.

Towy ABC trainer Cas Davies said: "It was another great night of boxing and there were a few real wars in the ring.

"All our boys boxed well and we'll already looking forward to the next show."
