THE Amman Valley Barbarians took their 25th tour to London, defeating a London Barbarian development team 42-15.

The emphatic encounter began miserably for the BaBas with Mathew Lewis dropping a pass and allowing Joe Sackey to go in under the posts.

The BaBas hit back with three quick tries from Jason Rosser, Wayne Price and Glanedd Davies, all successfully converted by Ronald Isaac.

Jayson Senchal starred for the BaBas setting up pocket rocket Jac Lewis for the fourth and the flood gates the opened with experienced blindside Steffan Thomas sealing the victory with a 40-metre burst.

The game ended miserably for Tex Roberts when the ref showed him a red card for illegal use of the boot.

Special mention for Londoners who, as always, provided a great welcome and return to play the Amman Valley Barbarians next February.

Emphatic tour mascot Hywel Jones said: “This tour has been extremely successful - to see young players Steve Petryshen and Eifion Harries make their debuts was highly pleasing.”
