Matchroom Reds lost out when they visited in-form Snooker World in the Llanelli and District Snooker League First Division where Jamie Clarke, Anthony Krysa, Kristian Llewellyn and Elwyn Lewis won for the Ammanford hosts.

Elsewhere, Paul Doughton, Kyle Steins, Martyn Tucker and Steve Doughton earned Pont Cons A a 5-2 victory against Llandybie RFC. Mark Hughes and Andrew Williams replied.

Morfa won 4-3 at Legion Whites while Tycroes RFC A defeated Pontyberem 4-3 thanks to Martin Davies, Tim Lewis, Keith Jones and Steve Francis. Kevin Sellwood and Darren Treharne won for the visitors.

Llandybie Social’s frame-winners in a 4-3 victory over Upper Tumble Blues were Tim Walters, Howard Wood and Wyn Major. The Blues’ points came from Nicky Walters, Chris Bishop and M Hughes.

Unbeaten Great Mountain, Tumble, won again in Division Two, this time 6-1 against Snooker World B thanks to Anthony Stephens, Elton Rees, Jason Putt, James Bradley and Shaun Lewis. Only Mike Woods averted the whitewash.

Two winless teams clashed with Llanelli Cons A getting a first win, 5-2 against Llanesco.

Elsewhere, Burry Port Reading Room Blues succeeded 4-3 at Electric C, and Bryn & Trallwm (Dan Bowen 42 break) won 6-1 at Penygroes RFC, for whom Mark Walters averted the whitewash.

Electric B edged an aggregate 4-3 victory at Trimsaran A (Carl Thomas 41 break), and Llanelli Cons B were beaten 4-3 at Garnant Club, for whom Mike Hopkins and Paul Davies won.

New Lodge B remain unbeaten in Division Three after an aggregate 4-3 win against CGMD. Matthew Jones, Alun Rees and Nigel Powney won for the Fishermen.

Tycroes RFC B earned a first victory, winning 4-3 at Calsonic Rivals, thanks to Matthew Davies, Mike Davies and Jordan Davies.

Meanwhile, Geraint Thomas, Justin Williams and Dai Porter won for Pont Cons B who suffered their first loss - 4-3 at Bryn B.

Trimsaran B edged a 4-3 win at Gorseinon Workmens while Cross Hands A are still yet to win after a 4-3 loss at Loughor. Matthew Donald, Mark Jones and Jamie Owens struck for the hosts while Hywel Pritchard, Lyn Morgan and Gareth Jones won for the visitors.
