Llanelli and District Bowls
Llanelli Steel 42.5 Cwmaman 108
Cwmaman notched their widest-margin victory for some time with their most convincing victory of the season at Llanelli Steel on Saturday.
It proved a comfortable afternoon for the visitors, for whom Rink Two - under skip Byron Davies did the main damage with a rout of their visitors, winning by 40 shots to 7.25.
The other three rinks also went Cwm’s way in convincing fashion.
Dyfed Lewis and Alan Thomas skipped their fours to win by 11 and eight shots, respectively.
And, despite being a man-light on Rink One, James Davies’ trio still proved too hot for the home side, claiming a commanding win by over 13 shots, to help the club complete the whitewash and claim a notable full-set of 14 league points.
Cwmaman have two league matches remaining, both on their home green, beginning with the visit of Llandeilo on Saturday.
They finish off by entertaining Garden Village on September 5.
