Welsh League Division Three
Cwmamman United 3
Panteg 1
Cwmamman United moved up to second in the league thanks to a comfortable home win over Panteg on Tuesday night.
The hosts went 1-0 on 15 minutes when a great cross from Jordan Langley was headed home by Liam Hughes.
Hughes doubled the hosts’ advantage when he coolly round the keeper before slotting home.
Langely made it 3-0 just before the break.
Cwmamman never got out of second gear after the break and Panteg netted late on to make the final score 3-1.
The win saw Cwmamman leapfrog valley rivals Ammanford into second place on goal difference, with the latter set to visit Cwm Welfare on Wednesday evening.
