Clydach 0 Bryn Rovers 4

Relegation threatened Clydach made things difficult for table-topping Bryn by putting plenty of men behind the ball.

The visitors struggled to find their passing game on a bumpy surface, but eventually took the lead through a Nicholas Spowart strike from the edge of the area.

Despite their dominance, Bryn, missing Nick Lacey, Dafydd Griffiths, Josh Jones and Tom Hurley, managed only three shots in a disappointing first half, and it was the introduction of veteran Rhodri Thomas after the break that gave them some width on the left flank to stretch the home defence.

Man of the match Mark James had a hand in the second, crossing for Adam Campbell to score, before unleashing an audacious volley from far out which caught the keeper out completely.

A long ball from the back set up the fourth as Campbell raced through to finish.

Mathew Jones enjoyed a fine debut in the middle of the park.

Bryn will look to hang on to top spot going into the final four games of the campaign which include tough fixtures against two former Welsh league outfits in the shape of Glynneath and title favourites Giants Grave.
