Ynysmeudwy Athletic travelled to Cwm Wanderers in the Neath and District Premier League and came away worthy 5-2 winners.
The visitors took the lead thanks to a well-taken effort from Ryan Rouse who chipped the goalkeeper.
Athletic could have gone further ahead before the interval but missed a number of chances.
After the break, the visitors did double their advantage thanks to a well-struck 20-yard effort Richard Wheel which left the home keeper no chance.
Rouse doubled his tally before Anthony Price and Mark Adams also got on the scoresheet to secure all three points for the visitors.
Tom Jones scored the only goal for Ynysmeudwy Reserves as they went down to a 5-1 defeat to visiting Cwmaman United.
They host Ynysygwern in the Reserve Division One Cup Semi final on Saturday (KO 2pm).
