Blaenau 7 Betws 64
Betws romped to an impressive victory over basement side Blaenau and maintain their third-place position in the process.
The visitors opened the scoring after five minutes with a try from flanker Nathan Chapman, converted by Daniel Griffiths, and centre Daniel Madge added the first of his two scores just minutes later.
Fellow centre Arron Evans then added a further two touchdowns before and wing Ashley Evans ensured the game was all but over but the break.
The Betws forwards started the second half on the front foot to create a well-worked try for wing Dan Thomas, converted by Madge.
The game then went into a period of stalemate until Blaenau crossed for a converted score against the run of play on 55 minutes.
Betws took a final grip on the game with three tries in ten minutes, two by wing Ashley Evans who impressed all day with his pace, before second row and captain Paul Rees scored and converted his own effort.
