Towy hitman Kyle Mayes put on his best performance of the season so far as he claimed a unanimous decision victory over Joshua Atiko from Splott at the Swansea-Gwent show.

Huw Francis-Davies was also on the bill and put on an excellent display against Shane Goddard of Penyrheol but was unlucky to lose by split decision.

Towy ABC is set to host a home show at Penygroes RFC on Saturday, February 21, with what promises to be a fantastic display of skills with no less than ten Towy boxers on show.

Schoolboys Joe Anthony, Alfei Lloyd and Lucus Gianni will be up against Zac Parsons (Chepstow), Jake Down (Penarth), Ben Williams (Baglan) in what will be their first fights on home soil.

Jake Anthony meanwhile is set to go toe to toe with Franky Strinarty of Penarth in what promises to be an all action bout.

Mayes will also be returning to the ring to face Ben Stewart, also of Penarth.

Spencer Thomas will be giving it his all against Baglan’s Aaron Bird in what promises to be one of the bouts of the night while Francis-Davies will be in action against David Stansfield of Chepstow while newcomers Morgan Hill will makes his debut against Omar Ali of Trostre. Ryan Redfern will also be in action along with Towy favourite Phil Jones.

Doors open at 7pm with the first bout scheduled for 8pm. Payment on the door is £10 adults and £5 for children.
