Llandybie Social secured a valuable 6-1 Llanelli and District Snooker League first division win at Cross Hands B, courtesy of Peter Howatson, Wyn Major, Lyndsey Pugh, Karl Evans and Huw Morgan. Only Alex Dickie was able to reply.

Snooker World A were 6-1 winners at Bryn, thanks to Andrew Williams, Alan Jones, P Williams, Shane Wright and Leighton Davies.

Pontyberem Workmens’ and Burry Port Legion are currently level at the top of the table as wins from Kieran Evans (27 clearance break ), Craig Rees, Wyn Davies, Alun Harris (41 clearance), Darryl Treharne and Kevin Sellwood swept Pontyberem to a 7-0 victory against New Lodge A while Legion were edged out 4-3 at Upper Tumble Blues. Mark Hughes, C Rees and A Samson won for the latter.

Elsewhere, a two-man short Electric C side still won 4-3 at Morfa, while Pont Cons A, for whom Simon Williams (23, 27 and 40 breaks), Kyle Steins (25) and Steve Doughton were on top, edged home 4-3 against Llanesco B.

Duane Griffiths, Steve Davies (22), Jonathan Ball and Keri Davies won as Pontardulais Workmens’ defeated Llandybie RFC 5-2,Dylan Jones and Mark Hughes on song for the latter.

In Division Two, Wyn Llewelyn provided CGMD’s solitary point after a 6-1 reversal at Electricity B, while Craig Jones made a 53 break in Reading Room Blues’ 4-3 win against Trimsaran A .

Llanelli Cons A posted a 5-2 victory over Garnant Club. Steve Lewis and Stuart Dunn won for the visitors.

Matchroom A convincingly overcame Tycroes RFC A 6-1 with Keith Jones claiming a consolation point for the Rugby club.

Another week, another win for Division Three’s runaway leaders Snooker World B who ran out 5-2 victors against Ponthenri thanks to Callum Jackson, Martin Pereira, Andrew Whitfield and Steffan Crump. C Howells and Verdun Lewis replied.

A Jameson, Nesshel Palmer-Ides, Eric Stevens and David Lewis earned Llandeilo Hall a welcome 5-2 win against Cross Hands A, who pinched the aggregate point thanks to Roy Foster and Arwyn Pritchard’s frame wins.

Great Mountain, Tumble, won 5-2 at Pont Cons C after Anthony Stephens, Alan Jones, Mark Martin and Tomos Evans had won. Jamie Bishop and Tom Carey struck for the hosts.

Elsewhere, Trimsaran B earned a 5-2 success against Pontardulais Cons B. Hugh Williams and Phil Evans struck for Bont.

Mike Sainty, Gerry Keaney, J Williams and L Williams gave Upper Tumble Reds a 5-2 win at Tycroes B, who hit back via Raymond Davies and C Jones.

New Lodge B were 4-3 winners against Loughor following frame-wins by Andrew John, Billy Bachelor and G Langford. Mark Jones, Matthew Donald and Jamie Owen replied for the visitors.
