Ynysmeudwy Athletic played host to Seven Sisters and took an early lead thanks to a well-taken Anthony Price strike.
The hosts went further ahead through the in-form Ryan Rouse who ensured they took a 2-0 advantage into the half-time break.
After the interval Seven pulled a goal back to get themselves into contention but the Athletic piled the pressure on the Neath Valley side.
The visitors advances were kept at bay by the home defence and the Athletic went doubled their lead through substitute Mark Adams.
Ynysmeudwy could have made the game safe from a penalty, but saw their spotkick saved.
The hosts continued to apply pressure and created a host of chances, but failed to find the net.
Ynysmeudwy are home again on Saturday when they host Giants Grave.
