Electricity C shocked leaders Burry Port Legion Whites by winning 5-2 while Pontyberem edged a 4-3 victory over Matchroom B, courtesy of Craig Rees, Wyn Davies and Alun Harris.

Liam McGhee provided Llandybie RFC’s solitary point in a 6-1 drubbing at Morfa, while Simon Williams and Steve Doughton were on song for Pont Cons A who were beaten 5-2 by Llandybie Social A. For the Social, Wyn Major, Peter Howatson, Karl Evans and Huw Morgan contributed wins.

Bryn & Trallwm edged home 4-3 against New Lodge A, for whom Lee Burder, Cliff Wilcox and Jonny Wilcox notched the points, while Adam Griffiths, Steve Dunn, Mike Footman and M Johns gave Pontarddulais Workmens’ a 5-2 success against Llanesco B.

In Division Two, Keith Williams and Nick Davies won for Garnant Club as the high-riding side were beaten again, this time 5-2 on their visit to Matchroom A.

In-form Tycroes RFC A enjoyed a 5-2 victory against lowly Penygroes RFC, courtesy of Dean Bromham, Martin Davies, Steve Francis and Geoff Jones. Mark Walters and Paul Garritty replied.

Llanelli Cons A won 5-2 against Trimsaran A and Peter Kelly made a swift 45 break in Burry Port Reading Room Blues’ aggregate 4-3 win against CGMD. Alun Rees, Dai King and Matthew Jones won for the Fishing Club.

Third division leaders Snooker World B show no sign of relenting as the notched up another 7-0 victory with Upper Tumble Reds their latest victims. Mike Woods, Corey Gleaves, Alun Ashmund, Callum Jackson, Jac Evans and Andrew Whitfield completed the rout. Trimsaran B dropped just one frame to Cross Hands C’s Mark Jones in winning 6-1, but it was closer at New Lodge B where the home side edged past Ponthenri 4-3 after Marcus Courtney, Andrew John and G Langford had won. Mark Regola, Kevin Lewis and B Lewis replied.

Nesshel Palmer-Ides and Eric Stevens struck for Llandeilo Hall, beaten 5-2 by Loughor. For the visitors, Matthew Donald, Mark Jones, Joshua Smith and J Donald were on top.

In the big Bont derby, Adrian Thomas, Hugh Williams and Gary Thomas edged a 4-3 win for Pontarddulais Cons B over their C side. Julian Williams, Kristian Rees and Tom Carey replied.
