League Three West C
Pantyffynnon 24 Mynydd Y Garreg 10
Pantyffynnon earned their first win of the year thanks largely to a fine opening half hour where they ran in three tries.
The scores came courtesy of Nick James, Rob Davies and Nathan Jones, with James converting all three scores.
James also added a second half penalty to take his total for the club past 1,500.
The win was however overshadowed by a wrist injury to fly-half Ceri Jones - suffered during the last play of the game – which is likely to ensure his season has come to a premature end.
Panty will hope the win can be the catalyst for a winning run ahead of the visit of struggling Llansawel on Saturday.
