Burry Port Legion Whites’ tenth victory of the season, a 5-2 win at Llandybie RFC, earned them a substantial lead at the top of the Llanelli Snooker League Division One table. Only Richard Davies and Rhodri Treharne were able to stem the tide for Llandybie.

Matchroom B lead the chase after a 6-1 win against Bryn, while at the other end, bottom-side Llandybie Social A defeated Pontarddulais Workmens’ 4-3 thanks to Huw Morgan, Peter Howatson and Howard Wood. Steve Dunn and the Griffiths duo - Adam and Duane, struck for Bont.

Adrian Phillips, Alex Dickie, Nigel Harris and Mark Davies earned Cross Hands B a fine 5-2 win against Pont Cons A, for whom Anthony Lewis (44 break) and Gwyn Williams came out on top.

Upper Tumble Blues suffered a 7-0 thrashing at New Lodge A, for whom Jonny Wilcox, Mark Tucker, Martyn Tucker, Lee Burder, Cliff Wilcox and Mike Wood completed the rout.

Morfa enjoyed a 5-2 win at Llanesco B while Jamie Clarke, Josh Jordan, P Jones and Leighton Davies gave Snooker World A a 4-3 success against Electric C.

Garnant Club climbed back top in Division Two following a 6-1 victory against Penygroes RFC, where Steve Lewis, Keith Joci, Stu Dunn and Lyn Hopkins won. Only Jamie Gimblett could avert the whitewash.

Trimsaran A lie second after a 4-3 win against a man-short Matchroom A (Paul Thomas 48 break), and Burry Port Reading Room Blues go third after a 4-3 win at Electric B.

Reading Room Reds suffered a 5-2 loss to Tycroes RFC A, for the latter, Tim Lewis, Steve Francis, Martin Davies and Arwyn Rees struck.

Elsewhere, CGMD returned to action with a 5-2 victory against Llanelli Cons A, thanks to wins from Nigel Powney, Alun Rees, Dai King and Wyn Llewelyn.

Snooker World B have a commanding lead in Division Three after another win – this time a narrow 4-3 victory at Tycroes RFC B, thanks to M Williams, Callum Jackson and Andrew Whitfield. M Davies, C Jones and Steffan Davies replied.

Great Mountain go second, despite the Tumble side’s 4-3 loss at Loughor, for whom Matthew Donald, Mark Jones and Sion Guard won. Thomas Evans, Mark Martin and James Bradley hit back for the Tumble men.

Cross Hands C celebrated their first victory, a 4-3 success against Pont Cons C, with wins from Jimmy Thomas, Brian Jones and Jeff Howells. Geraint Thomas, Julian Williams and Tom Carey were on top for Bont.

Ponthenri Social defeated Llandeilo Hall 5-2, thanks to Rob Regolla, C Howells, Alun James and Kevin Lewis. Eric Stevens and N Davies won for Llandeilo.

Elsewhere, Alan Hiddlestone, Hugh Williams and Gary Thomas edged a 4-3 win for Pont Cons B against Cross Hands A, whose winning three were Lyn Morgan, Howell Pritchard and Gary Stead.

Trimsaran B posted a 5-2 win at Gorseinon Workmens while S Thomas, B Bachelor, R Morgan and G Langford gave New Lodge B a 4-3 win at Upper Tumble Reds – K Evans and Chris Bishop were on the ball for Tumble.
