Britton Ferry 4 Bryn Rovers 5

Rovers avenged their recent shock defeat at Briton Ferry with a late winner at Sandfields.

The visitors took the lead as early as the first minute when a Mark James cross was turned in by the in-form Nick Lacey.

One became two soon after when Lacey raced clear to latch on to Dafydd Griffiths’ through ball and fire home.

Bryn’s good start did not last however, and a slip by Mark Griffiths allowed Ferry to make it 2-1.

The hosts levelled form the penalty-spot soon after when Mark Griffiths fouled in the box.

Bryn would have reclaimed their lead before the break but both Adam Campbell and James saw efforts hit the woodwork.

The hosts took the lead early in the second half through a great strike, but were reduced to ten men following a rash challenge.

Lacey got Bryn back in the match with his third before Ferry again reclaimed the advantage.

James went down in the box and converted the penalty to make it 4-4.

The winning goal came from a sublime Nick Spowart pass which was controlled and converted by Carwyn Sheldon to claim the points.
