Electric C crashed 7-0 at Upper Tumble Blues in the Llanelli and District Snooker League first division with M Hughes, Joe Evans, Carwyn Cue, C Rees, M Bakewell and N Walters all on form to complete the rout.

Pontyberem Workmens’ lead the table early on thanks to a 7-0 win against Llanesco B, while at the other end, New Lodge A earned a first win of the campaign against winless Cross Hands B, for whom Mark Davies and Mal Jones struck.

Matchroom B posted a 6-1 victory over Llandybie Social A, whose only frame-winner was Huw Morgan.

Second-placed Snooker World A edged a 4-3 win at Pont Cons A, thanks to Jamie Clark, Elwyn Lewis and Andrew Williams (48 break). Simon Williams (25), Kyle Steins(35, 26) and Steve Doughton hit back for Bont.

Elsewhere, there was a 4-3 win for Burry Port Legion at Pontarddulais Workmens’ and Llandybie RFC won 5-2 at Bryn, with wins from Richard Davies, Mark Hughes, Sion Isaac and Liam McGhee.

Division Two, leaders Burry Port Reading Room Blues lost their unbeaten record, against stable-mates Reading Room Reds, and Garnant Club suffered a first loss, 4-3 - Keith Williams, Stuart Dunn and Lyn Hopkin came out on top against Llanesco A, but it was not enough to secure the win.

Just Alun Rees won as CGMD crashed 6-1 at Calsonic Rivals, while Cons B were beaten 4-3 at Electric B .

Bottom-side Llandybie Social were demolished 7-0 by Tycroes RFC A, for whom Dean and Matthew Bromham, S Evans, Tim Lewis and A Wood won.

Elsewhere, Llanelli Cons A earned a 5-2 success against Penygroes RFC. Jeff Jones and Jamie Gimblett won for the rugby club.

Three sides - Trimsaran B, Snooker World B and Great Mountain, Tumble remain unbeaten in Division Three.

Leaders Snooker World won 6-1 against Pont Cons B, courtesy of Callum Jackson, Jac Evans, Martin Pereira, Alan Ashmund and Andrew Whitfield. Lee O’Neill was the only reply.

Mark Martin, Endaf Jones, Thomos Evans and Elton Rees earned Great Mountain a 5-2 win at New Lodge B, and Trimsaran B hammered Loughor 7-0.

Gorseinon Workmens’ grabbed a first win, 4-3 against Upper Tumble Reds, for whom L Williams, C Bishop and J Bradley were winners.

Meanwhile, Raymond Davies, Colin Jones, Clive Jones and Mike Davies gave Tycroes RFC B a 5-2 victory against Cross Hands C. Gary Joshua and Jeff Howells hit back for the latter.

Gary Stead, Lyn Morgan and R Griffiths helped Cross Hands A to an aggregate 4-3 win at Pontardulais Cons C. Kristian Rees, Geraint Thomas and Dai Porter won for Bont.
