Llandybie Social A claimed a first win of the season in the Llanelli and District Snooker League First Division courtesy of a 5-2 victory over Cross Hands B thanks to Peter Howatson, Carl Evans, Peter John and Wyn Major. Mark Davies and Alex Dickie replied.
Llanesco B also earned a maiden-victory, beating previously-unbeaten Pont Cons A 5-2. Paul Doughton (35 clearance) and Anthony Lewis struck for Bont.
Bryn tasted their first defeat, hammered 7-0 at Snooker World A, for whom Leighton Davies, J Clarke, Andrew Williams, Elwyn Lewis, Josh Jordan and Cain Morgan completed the rout.
Meanwhile, Steve Dunn and Jonny Ball won as Pontarddulais Workmens lost 5-2 at Llandybie RFC. Dar Sigsworth, Mark Hughes, Sion Isaac and Richard Davies won for the latter.
Electric C remain unbeaten after edging a 4-3 win against Morfa, and wins from Kieran Evans (33 break), Darrell Treharne, A Howard and Wyn Davies gave Pontyberem a 5-2 victory at New Lodge A.
Upper Tumble Blues celebrated a first win - 4-3 at Burry Port Legion where Ian Tinnuche, C Rees, C Cue and M Bakewell on top.
In Division Two, CGMD claimed their first win of the campaign, edging past Electric B 4-3, thanks to Raymond Evans, and father and son Wyn and Rhodri Llewelyn.
Garnant Club remain unbeaten thanks to a third straight win after a 5-2 victory against Cons A, with Nick Davies, Lyn Hopkin, Keith Williams and Stuart Dunn all on top.
Penygroes RFC celebrated a first win courtesy of their 6-1 triumph against winless Llandybie Social B, whose only point was via Josh Lewis. Jamie Gimblett, Jeff Jones, Chris Waters, L Jones and Paul Garritty all won for the rugby club.
Llanesco A notched a 5-2 win at Reading Room Reds, and Reading Room Blues were 6-1 winners at Trimsaran A.
Elsewhere, Matchroom A edged a 4-3 win at Tycroes RFC A. Tim Lewis and K John won for the RFC.
In division Three, Snooker World B made it three out of three with a 5-2 win at Ponthenri, courtesy of Callum Jackson, Andrew Whitfield, Dafydd Lewis and Jac Evans.
M Davies, C James and Raymond Davies edged a 4-3 win for Tycroes RFC B at Upper Tumble Reds, who hit back via C Bishop, G Keaney and I Williams.
Trimsaran B are also unbeaten after a 4-3 win at Pont Cons B. Lee O’Neil, A Hiddlestone and Adrian Thomas won for Bont. Meanwhile, Cross Hands A were comfortable 6-1 victors against Llandeilo Hall thanks to Arwyn Pritchard, R Griffiths, Lyn Morgan, Gary Stead and Gareth Jones. Only Richard Friend’s win saved the whitewash defeat.
Anthony Stephens, Endaf Jones, Elton Rees and Mark Martin earned Great Mountain, Tumble, a 5-2 win at the expense of Pont Cons C. Geraint Thomas and Jamie Bishop replied.
New Lodge B enjoyed a fine 6-1 win at Loughor thanks to Andrew John, Stuart Thomas and the three Morgans Derek, Roy and Terry.
