Pontarddulais Workmens’ remain unbeaten in the Llanelli and District Snooker League First Division thanks to a 5-2 win over Snooker World A, courtesy of Keri Davies (29), Adam Griffiths, Steve Dunn and Steve Davies (33). Dai Luce and Josh Jordon won for the Ammanford men.

Elsewhere, Kieran Evans, Darryl Treharne, Wyn Davies and Craig Rees helped Pontyberem see off Llandybie Social A 5-2. Lindsay Pugh and Wyn Major replied.

Paul Doughton, Kyle Steins, Gwyn Williams and Steve Doughton (53) gave Pont Cons A a 5-2 success against New Lodge A, the two Wilcox boys - Cliff and Johnny hit back for Lodge.

Mark Hughes and Maurice Bakewell were on song for Upper Tumble Blues in a 5-2 loss to Llandybie RFC. For the latter, Richard Davies, Andrew Evans, Liam McGhee and Mark Hughes struck.

Burry Port Legion won 5-2 at Morfa while Matchroom B (Matthew Stevens, 88 break) claimed a 4-3 win at Cross Hands B, for whom Nigel Harris and Richard Watts struck .

Bryn also won again - 4-3 against Llanesco B.

In Division Two, Garnant Club won again - 5-2 at Llandybie Social B. Nick Davies, Lyn Hopkin, E Abel and Keith Williams came out on top while James Hagley and K Lewis replied.

Matchroom A beat winless Penygroes RFC 6-1 - only Chris Waters prevented the whitewash. Llanesco B beat Carway A 5-2, and Reading Room Reds lost 4-3 at Cons A. Cons B were beaten 6-1 at Reading Room Blues while Electric B saw off Calsonic Rivals 4-3.

In the third division, Snooker World B won a second successive game - 7-0 against Cross Hands C, thanks to Alan Ashmund, Callum Jackson, Jac Evans, Martin Pereira, D Lewis and Andrew Whitfield.

Meanwhile, Tycroes RFC B beat Gorseinon 4-3, following wins by Matthew Davies, Raymond Davies and B Jones.

Carway B were 5-2 winners against Ponthenri, for whom Alun James and Jeff Howells won. Elsewhere, N Davies and Nesshel Palmer-Ides were Llandeilo Hall winners in a 5-2 loss to Great Mountain. Anthony Stephens, Byron Williams, Thomas Evans and Endaf Jones won for the Tumble men. Jamie Bishop and Gary Thomas were Pont Cons C’s winning duo in a 5-2 loss to Loughor.

Elsewhere, the three Morgans - Derek, Roy and Terry helped New Lodge B edge a 4-3 win against Pont Cons B, who hit back via Lee O’Neill, Rob Davey and Hugh Williams.
