ON THE WING: The latest results from the Amman Valley Pigeon Club.
The birds of the Amman Valley Pigeon Club faced their longest race of the season in the form of the 230-mile run from Lydden Hill near Dover.
Ken Bryan made a welcome return to form to claim the red card with his bird making it home in five hours and 29 minutes.
Results: 1st K Bryan; 2nd S Evans; 3rd K Bryan; 4th S Evans; 5th DG Davies and son; 6th K Bryan.
The race was sponsored by DG Davies and Son, plumbing services.
