Cwmaman were looking for an improved performance when they played host to Llandeilo at Cwmaman Park on Saturday.
However, the visitors spoiled the party on Cwmaman’s carnival day with a 10-point win.
For the hosts, the only highlight came on Rink Three where skip Dyfed Lewis’ quartet ran out winners by five shots.
Two close rinks on Two and Four went the way of the visitors.
The win ensured Llandeilo claimed 12 points to the hosts’ two.
