LITTLE WING: Results from the Amman Valley Pigeon Club race from Lillers in north-east France.
Amman Valley Pigeon Club’s Ken Bryan maintained his storming run with another red card winner as the birds took part in their first continental race of the season, sponsored by Broadleaf.
Setting off from Lillers in northern-eastern France, the birds battled a strong southerly wind which pushed the northwards up the east coast of England.
Despite the conditions, Ken’s bird was first home and completed the 300-mile course in seven hours and ten minutes.
