Forward Sean Mangan swept the board at Amman United RFC’s annual presentation evening.

Mangan capped an outstanding season by scooping the Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year awards during the ceremony at the Mountain Gate, Tycroes.

Other presentations saw Hayley Williams honoured with the Clubman of the Year trophy while Dean Williams scooped the Top Tryscorer award courtesy of his 18-touchdown haul.

Craig Radcliffe was named Most Improved Player and Christian Gregory picked up both the Most Dedicated Player and Quins Player of the Year trophies.

Alun Lewis was named Most Promising Player while there was also recognition for Liam Mangan, Matthew Wrigley and Adrian Thomas and their 100 percent playing records.

Karl Worsfold and Dean Williams jointly received the Captains’ Shield while Quins skipper Matthew Madge accepted the Seconds’ Shield.

Worsfold, who is hanging up his boots after a long career with the club, was presented with a special tankard in recognition of his outstanding spell with the Amman. The new youth coach was left a little stunned to watch a slideshow of his life, but regained his composure to bring the curtain down with an excellent speech.

Also saying farewell after hanging up his boots following his final game for the club was hard-tackling centre Tristan Manning.
