Welsh League Division Two
Ammanford 0
Cardiff Met University 3
CARDIFF Met University secured back-to-back promotions after they secured the three points during an impressive 3-0 win at the Rec.
The students started strongly, striking the post within five minutes. Ammanford wasted one of their few opportunities when winger Owen James shot high and wide after 14 minutes.
The visitors continued to press but, before the half ended James blazed another shot over the bar.
It took only three minutes after the interval for the away side to get the opener, as Lyall Hickman squeezed through the defence and a precise finish put them in front.
They doubled their lead through an Adam Roscow bicycle kick after a corner was flicked on and 15 minutes from time the same player added his second.
Ammanford nearly scored in the last minutes but James’ shot was blocked on the line.
