Dinefwr a'r Fro, the Ammanford-based South Wales Hockey League Premier Two side, has endured a tough season and the girls go into their final games of the campaign facing an all but impossible battle to avoid relegation.
Second-bottom Dinefwr currently find themselves playing catch-up with two games still outstanding while many of the teams in the division have already completed their fixtures.
They now sit on 11 points, four behind Swansea University Firsts in eighth.
However, the students vastly superior goal difference - boosted by the their recent 3-0 victory over Dinefwr, means the Ammanford side require nothing less than wins against two of the top sides in the league if they are to avoid the drop.
A 17-0 aggregate turnaround from a win and a draw would also secure safety, but appears about as likely as a snowstorm in July.
