Social A won the Llanelli Snooker First Division village derby at Llandybie RFC 5-2, courtesy of Karl Evans, Peter Howatson, Linsey Pugh and Roger Morgan. Sion Isaac and Dylan Jones replied.

Elsewhere, Legion Whites earned a fine 5-2 victory over leaders Pont Cons A, whose winners were Simon Williams (31) and Jamie Tudor.

Another Bont side, Pontarddulais Workmens crashed 7-0 at Upper Tumble Blues where Joe Evans, Carwyn Cue (53), Mark Hughes, Alan Samson, Ian Tinnuche and C Rees completed the rout.

Llanesco B won 4-3 at Snooker World A while Matchroom B posted a 5-2 win against Cross Hands B, for whom Jamie Gimblett and Mark Martin struck.

Electric C saw off Matchroom A 4-3, whereas Jeff Jones, Chris Waters, Paul Garritty and Mark Walters gave Penygroes RFC a much-needed 5-2 win over New Lodge A.

In Division Two, in-form Bryn beat CGMD 5-2 – only D King and Wyn Llewelyn won for the Fishing Club. Garnant Club enjoyed a 6-1 win over Cons A, with Rhys Fisher, Steve Lewis, Stuart Dunn, Euros Griffiths and Keith Williams all on the ball.

Pontyberem meanwhile were grateful to Kevin Sellwood, Craig Rees, Wyn Davies and Alun Harris for their 5-2 success at Tycroes A. Jeff Jones and Matthew Bromham won for the RFC.

Lowly Gorseinon beat Electric B 5-2 while Reading Room Reds won 4-3 at New Lodge B and Carway A suffered a 6-1 drubbing at Reading Room Blues.

In the third division, Tim Walters, Adam Challis, Neshel Palmer-Ides and Dai Lewis helped Llandeilo Hall see off Cross Hands C 5-2. R Kestin and Gary Joshua won for the latter.

Wins from Julian Williams, Geraint Thomas and Tom Carey gave Pont Cons C the aggregate win by the closest possible margin against Snooker World B. Alun Ashmund, Martin Pereira and Dafydd Lewis won for the Ammanford side.

A man-short Tycroes B, for whom Raymond Davies won, crashed 6-1 at Calsonic Rivals, while Gary Stead, Richard Griffiths and Roy Foster were on top as Cross Hands A defeated Ponthenri 4-3. Alan James, Jeff Howells and Mark Regola replied.

Loughor earned a 5-2 win against Upper Tumble Reds, whose points were via James Bradley and Tony Rees.

Dai Porter, Adrian Thomas, Hugh Williams and Gary Thomas gave Pont Cons B a 5-2 win against Great Mountain. Thomas Evans and Graham Vernon won for the Tumble cuemen.
