One of the top games of the week saw Upper Tumble Blues edge a tight 4-3 win against Morfa in the Llanelli and District Snooker League first division, courtesy of Mark Hughes, Carwyn Cue and Maurice Bakewell.

Matchroom B enjoyed a 6-1 victory over leaders Pont Cons A, whose only point was via Kyle Steins, while Adam Griffiths, Keri Davies, Matthew Jones and Jonathan Ball (29 & 22 breaks) gave Pontardulais Workmens a 5-2 win at Electric C.

Llanesco B edged out New Lodge A 4-3, and Llandybie Social A also won 4-3 on their short journey to Snooker World A, thanks to Karl Evans, Roger Morgan, Peter Howatson and Huw Morgan. Dai Luce and Andrew Williams replied.

Elsewhere, Jeff Jones, Paul Garritty, Craig Hughes and Chris Waters gave Penygroes RFC a 5-2 success against Matchroom A.

Adrian Phillips, Mark Martin and Mal Jones helped Cross Hands B nick an aggregate 4-3 win at Llandybie RFC, whose winning trio were Mark Hughes, Dylan Jones and Liam McGhee.

In Division Two, Steve Lewis, Keith Williams, Rhys Fisher, Lyn Hopkin and Nick Davies all won as Garnant Club defeated Electric B 6-1.

High-flying Reading Room Reds won 4-3 at Gorseinon while Reading Room Blues beat Llanelli Cons A 4-3. Wyn Llewelyn and Nigel Jones won as CGMD went down 5-2 at Carway A.

Llanelli Cons B earned a 6-1 victory over Llanesco A.

In Division Three, the top game saw Anthony Davies and Andrew Wood win for Llandybie Social B in a 5-2 defeat to Carway B.

There was also a 5-2 win for Calsonic Rivals against Snooker World B. Callum Jackson and Corey Gleaves won for the Ammanford side.

Gary Joshua, Mark Jones, Jeff Howells and R Kestin gave Cross Hands C a 4-3 victory at Great Mountain. Elton Rees and Thomas Evans were on top for the Tumble side.

Llandeilo Hall enjoyed a fine 6-1 win against Ponthenri, thanks to Eric Stevens, Tim Walters, Dai Lewis, Richard Friend and Neshell Palmer-Ides - only Mark Regola replied.

Dai Porter, Alan Hiddlestone, Jamie Bishop and Gary Thomas won as Pont Cons B saw off Upper Tumble Reds 5-2 - Tony Rees and James Bradley hit back. The Reds had a busy week, going down 6-1 to Pont Cons C in a rearranged fixture. Tom Carey, Dai Mayhew, Ben Roberts, Kris Rees and Geraint Thomas all won for Bont.

Meanwhile, in the Harry Watkins Cup finals, Matchroom B beat Morfa in Division One; Pontyberem Workmens claimed the Division Two title with victory over Carway A and Ponthenri Social beat Carway B in the Division Three fixture.
