Open Cup – Second Round
Ynysmeudwy Ath 1 Cwm Wanderers 0
Ynysmeudwy Athletic hosted Cwm Wanderers and went ahead in the first half thanks to a Johnny McClelland strike.
Both sides tried to play football in bright sunshine on a horrible surface and the hosts deserved their interval lead.
The second half saw Cwm take the game to the hosts, but they failed to turn pressure into goals thanks to a man of the match performance from James Slattery in the Athletic defence.
Cwms thirds meanwhile staged a remarkable fight back in their home fixture against Mond when, having been 3-0 down at the break, they stormed back to win the game 4-3 thanks to a 30-yard Peter Hancock screamer at the death and goals from Nathan Cornelius, Daniel Parry and Daniel Jenkins.
Cwm Youth won a top of the table clash at Welsh league Pontardawe, running out 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Alex Williams, Dominic Williams and Adam Green.
Ynys Reserves claimed a 4-1 Reserve Division One Cup victory over Ystradgynlais thanks to goals from Tom Jones, Ciaran Williams and Matthew Jones.
