Division Six West
Llandybie 7 Tregaron 19
Llandybie started with a bang when a high ball was poorly defended by the visitors allowing Josh Williams to rip the ball out of the clutches of the Tregaron defender to score near the posts.
Ben Featherstone added the extras for the hosts.
Within five minutes the visitors hit back with flanker Rhydian Davies scoring close to the posts. Chris Jones converted.
Two more penalties were added by Jones before half time to ensure Tregaron went into the break 13-7 up.
The second half was a try-less affair with Jones adding two more penalties to the scoreboard.
The defeat was Llandybie’s first of the season and the club faithful will be hoping it proves a wake-up call for the rest of the season.
