Saron went to Johnstown for the Carmarthen Mini League with a bare six players this week, but the squad was undeterred and won all five games, scoring 11 goals and only conceding one.

The day began against Stars B and the Saron defence held firm throughout with Harrison setting Steffan for the first goal.

The roles were reversed minutes later as Harrison earned his side a 2-0 win.

The second game saw Saron take on the hosts. Again Saron dominated before Steffan opened the scoring with a fine solo effort and then set up Harrison to claim another 2-0 victory.

In the third game – against Teigrod Teilo – Harrison scored both goals in the 2-0 victory.

Saron faced a tougher challenge when they took on kidwelly in game four and they found themselves defending throughout.

Logan found space on the break and again Harrison was the man on the spot to fire Saron to a 1-0 victory.

Game five saw Saron struggling to get a grip on the game against Stars A, but hitman Harrison eventually put them 1-0 to the good before doubling his tally with a long-range strike.

The Stars reduced the arrears before Harrison claimed his hat-trick and Logan put the result out of sight.
