While the Six Nations ensured there was barely a rugby ball kicked in anger anywhere in Carmarthenshire over the weekend, the foul weather put paid to the rest of the sporting calendar.

From Ynysmeudwy to Cwm Wanders and Cwmamman United, all games were off in the Carmarthenshire and Neath leagues while Ammanford’s Welsh League Division Two visit to Dinas Powys also fell foul of the conditions.
