For the host, Anthony Lewis, Jamie Tudor (25 clearance), Paul Doughton (32), Steve Doughton (22 clearance) and Johnny Wilcox all won.

Elsewhere, Morfa (Bernard Price, 32 break) earned a 6-1 victory against Llandybie Social A. Wyn Major won for the latter.

Struggling Legion Whites crashed 6-1 to New Lodge A, whose frame-winners were M Tucker, Lee Burder, Cliff Wilcox, Mark John and Roy Wilcox.

Tyler Rees, Alan Jones and Elwyn Lewis edged a 4-3 win for Snooker World A at Matchroom B, while there was an aggregate 4-3 victory for Electric C against Penygroes RFC A. Andrew Lloyd, J Evans and Mark Walters struck for the rugby club.

Upper Tumble Blues edged past Llanesco B 4-3, while wins from Adam Griffiths (37 & 30 breaks), Duane Griffiths, Keri Davies and Jonathan Ball helped Cross Hands B defeat Cross Hands B 5-2. Adrian Phillips and Nigel Harris replied.

In Division Two, wins from Darrell Treharne, Craig Rees and Kevin Sellwood edged a 4-3 victory for Pontyberem Workmens’ at Reading Room Reds.

Meanwhile, Bryn and Trallwm crashed 6-1 at Tycroes RFC A, whose points came courtesy of Matthew Bromham, G Davies, L Lloyd and Tim Lewis.

CGMD, Glanaman, posted an useful 5-2 win away at New Lodge B, thanks to Nigel Jones, Nigel Powney, Wyn Llewelyn and Rhodri Llewelyn. Archie Davies and Roy Morgan struck for Lodge.

Llanelli Cons B nicked a 4-3 victory against Carway A while Reading Room Blues (Peter Kelly, 48) earned an aggregate 4-3 win at Gorseinon Workmens. Jordan Davies, Darren Thorne and Mike Davies won for the Brighton Road cuemen.

In the third division, Calsonic Rival were beaten 4-3 by visiting Pontarddulais Cons B. For the latter, Robert Davey, Dai Porter and Gary Thomas were on the ball.

Peter Rees and Anthony Davies were among the winners as Llandybie Social B claimed a 4-3 success over Great Mountain Workmens. Thomas Evans, Alan Griffiths and W Rees were on top for the Tumble side.

Meanwhile, Corey Gleaves, Martin Pereira, Alun Ashmund, Dafydd Davies (22) and Dafydd Lewis gave Snooker World B a fine 6-1 victory against Ponthenri Social Club (A James, 22).

Mike Rees, Jimmy Thomas and Brian Jones were winners for Cross Hands C who claimed a 4-3 victory away at Pontarddulais Cons C. Kristian Rees, Julian Williams and Geraint Thomas came up trumps for the Bont.
