Saron u13s 5 Teigrod Teilo 1
Saron followed up last week’s excellent display with a comfortable league cup victory.
The pattern was set early on with Teigrod seemingly parking the bus as Saron camped in the visitors’ half.
The Teigrod keeper pulled off a string of excellent saves, but the breakthrough eventually came when Sean nipped in between defender and keeper to open the scoring.
Garin was a spectator in goals, but when called upon he was as reliable as ever.
Saron were quickly out of the blocks after the interval with substitute Aaron making a difference up front and linking well with the midfield.
The back four of Tizz, Jordan, Callan and Ben gave the opposition no time on the ball and Joe, who dominated midfield, was rewarded with his first goal in a Saron shirt.
He then turned provider, with a cracking through ball to Curtis who put Saron 3-0 up.
A lovely free-kick from Carwyn was nodded in by Curtis who pounced on a loose ball late on to claim his hat-trick.
Saron now move into the quarter finals.
