Cwm Wanderers enjoyed a fabulous weekend with the club’s three senior teams firing home 25 goals without reply.
The first team led the way with an 11-0 demolition of a very young Bryncoch outfit.
The victory ensured new manager Paul Bradshaw enjoyed a great start in his first game in charge as Alex Malgat fired in a first half hat-trick to put Cwm three-up at half-time.
The second half turned into a goal-fest with the introduction of striker Adam Green, who bagged five inside 20 minutes.
Malgat added another to his tally, with the remainder of the Cwm goals scored by new signing Phil Eady - a prolific goalscorer in the league for Bryn Rovers - and right wing Josh Williams.
Cwms Reserves progressed in the Reserves Cup thanks to a comfortable 4-0 away win at Ynysygerwn, courtesy of goals from Paddy Brittain, Gareth Shell, Steffan Jones and Daniel Parry.
Meanwhile, the Thirds defeated neighbours Godergraig by 10-0 to send them to the top of Reserve Division Three thanks to a Mike Young hat-trick, two from Kaef Prosser, and further goals from Huw Evans, Nick Evans, Darren Hodge, Scott Evans and an own goal.
On the down side, both the U14s and Youth sides lost their weekend matches, however the club’s four U6 and four U7s teams all won.
