Seaside U13s 1 Saron U13s 5
Saron travelled to Seaside on a bright and blustery morning and played into the wind in the first half with the hosts battling hard to claim the scalp of the reigning champions.
Seaside battled for every ball and did not give Saron any time to play their football.
Carwyn and Jordan had early chances, before Dyfan was called into action a couple of times - proving again how much he has improved since his switch to goalkeeper.
Curtis grabbed the opener for Saron to go into the break 1-0 up.
Seaside started the second half in determined mood, resulting in Sean, Callan and Ayrton all picking up knocks.
Seaside leveled early in the second half leading to a flurry of tactical changes amongst the visiting ranks
Ben dropped to right back with Jordan going on the wing while Daf slotted into centre half and Carwyn moved into midfield.
The changes saw a more solid defence with more attacking options available.
Curtis grabbed another two goals to complete his hat-trick, before Sean's high ball deceived the keeper to make it 4-1.
The biggest cheer of the day was reserved for Tom who headed home to make it 5-1 at the final whistle.
The result sees Saron move into second place ahead of next week’s clash with table-toppers Dafen.
