Bryn in seventh heaven to sink Giants Grave

Neath and District Reserve Division One
Bryn Rovers 7 Giants Grave 5
Bryn secured an important victory over one of the top teams in the division in a 12-goal thriller at Cae Criced.
Anyone arriving late would have missed Bryn going two-up inside two minutes thanks to a Mark James goal and a strike from the exciting Nick Lacey. Richard Barness gave Grave a lifeline with a cracking volley from close range to make it 2-1.
A brilliantly rehearsed free-kick by Pete Windsor and player-manager James saw the latter fire Bryn further ahead, before the visitors launched a comeback to tie the match at 3-3 entering into the half time interval.
The second half saw Tom Hurley score a great goal after good build up play and Windsor waltzed his way through the whole defence before rounding the keeper to make it 5-3.
A late collapse by Bryn allowed Grave to come back again to level it at 5-5, before a strong penalty appeal by Grave was turned down when the decision could have gone either way.
Two late goals by James ensured the victory that will hopefully be the beginning of Bryn's season.
