Cwmamman, following five straight victories, were hoping to finish their season on a high, but their fine run came to an end in their final match.
Cwm suffered a heavy loss in their last league game at Parc Howard, who took all 14 points on offer with Cwm returning home pointless.
Closest rink was Rink There, where skip Mike Jones’ quartet, down five at 15 ends, hit back well and only lost on the last shot on the final end to go down 15-14.
John Sam Jones and Byron Davies’ rinks both trailed 22-8 at 15 ends, but were unable to close the gap.
