There will be an opportunity to listen to a lecture about the importance of communities when the Llandeilo Civic Trust holds a Public Lecture in the Civic hall, Llandeilo on Thursday, February 26 at 7.30pm to be given by Ms Lise Brekmoe M.A., Archaeologist, Anthropologist and Head of Research of Our Valley Heritage project for the Civic Trust Wales in Cardiff. Listening to People - Heritage of Communities, is a review of how heritage has influenced the development of communities in Norway and Wales, it will provide parallels for promoting the heritage of Llandeilo and district. Entrance to the lecture is Adults £2.00, free to members. The lecture will be chaired by Dr David Townsley-Hughes, chairman of Llandeilo Civic Trust.
