Cwmaman Town Council recently received a representative, Matt Morden, who highlighted current activity within the Community Centre, Glanaman.
The Council heard that an instruction had been issued for completion of renovation works to front and side of the building to deal with a dampness problem.
There were currently nine courses running at the Centre, but there is capacity for additional courses.
The Welsh Government has allowed the County Council targeted funding towards over 502 and NEETS etc.
Meanwhile, interest has been received from another organisation wishing to take some space in the building.
Rent charged for use of the Centre has been increased to £8.97 per hour however, to try and recover overhead costs for running the building, Councillors have expressed concern that this increase is pricing organisations out of using the Centre.
