Brynaman Royal British Legion took part in the Remembrance service at St Catherines Church when the standards of the Royal British Legion and the Guides were received and laid at the altar by the Rev Adrian Teale. Lessons were read by Royal British Legion and the Rev Adrian Teal. Following the exhortation by J Jankowski the traditional bugle calls were rendered by Catherine for a two minutes silence. Following the church service a contingent of ATC lead a parade to the Cenotaph where prayers were offered by Rev Adrian Teal, and citation by J Jankowski, Royal British Legion Chairman. Bugle calls and silence as appropriate,wreaths were laid by Quarter Bach and Neath and Port Talbot councils, A.T.C, Guides, Brynaman RFC, Brynaman Industrial Club and many individuals in privatehomage.
Previous to Remembrance Sunday the Royal British Legion attended a service at the Millennium hall, Cwmllynfell, where the Rev Adrian Teale officiated and later the lighting of the lamp ceremony at Y Boblyn Cwmllynfell.
