GARDENING CLUB - Brynaman gardening club is re-opening on September 11 at 7.30pm in the Black Mountain Centre. Our first speaker of the year is Richard Bramley from Farmyard Nurseries. He will be talking about the Autumn Garden and how to keep it interesting through into winter.

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month and entrance is £1.50 to include refreshments or an annual subscription of £12. A raffle is held each month.

WELSH COURSE - If you are looking for something to do after the Summer holidays why not register on a Welsh Course?

The South West Wales Welsh for Adults Centre will be offering a 3 hour class a week at Brynaman Black mountain centre on Tuesdays 10am – 1pm with 3 hours study at home (with CDs and worksheets), the first meeting will be September 17.

The main emphasis in all our courses is on speaking Welsh.

LADIES SECTION - The ladies section of the Pensioners will re-commence after the summer break on Wednesday, September 18 at 2pm at the Pensioners' hall. New members will be warmly welcomed.

TEA PART - An Afternoon Tea / Garden Party will be held at St Catherine’s Community Hall on Wednesday, September 11 from 3 - 5pm. Admission £4. Ladies please feel free to wear your best hat. Croeso cynnes i bawb. A warm welcome to all. Proceeds in aid of Church Restoration Fund.
